Enjoy a nice summer day strolling through five beautiful gardens in Midland! The 7th Annual Reece Endeavor GardenWalk is scheduled for Wednesday, July 21, 2:00 to 7:00 p.m., rain or shine. Attendees will tour five fabulous residential gardens and enjoy refreshments at one of Midland’s most unique treasures, the Dow Gardens. You won’t want to miss bidding on the wonderful silent auction items (including the items pictured to the left on this page) that will be on display during the GardenWalk. Or, purchase a raffle ticket for a chance to win one of many other great prizes.
Make a day of it! Your ticket allows you to enjoy the lunchtime concert inside the spectacular Dow Gardens on July 21 before the GardenWalk beginning at 12 noon. Bring a picnic lunch or purchase a tasty treat there.
Tickets can be purchased for $10 in advance at the following Midland locations: Dow Gardens, Coffee Chaos, Glover’s Rexall Pharmacy, Heather and Holly, Village Green, Smith’s Flowers, Treasures on Townsend, Kutchey’s Flowers, I’ve Been Framed or the Reece Community Living Endeavor at 2723 Jefferson Ave; in Freeland at U Spa Salon and More, 115 S. Main St.; and in Bay City at Violets Blue, 115 4th Street. Tickets are $15 the day of the GardenWalk and can be purchased at any of the featured gardens or ticket locations. A map to each of the gardens is included on the ticket.
Proceeds from the GardenWalk will benefit the Reece Community Living Endeavor, a local nonprofit that has provided housing for individuals with special needs in Midland County for more than 50 years.

2009 GardenWalk
The Sixth Annual Reece Endeavor Garden Walk drew over 1060 viewers to see some of Midland's most beautiful residential gardens, raising over $25,000 to benefit the Endeavor. Attendees were offered the opportunity to bid on the beautiful items (shown to the left) donated by local area businesses as well as dozens of raffle prizes.
Once again, the Reece Endeavor extends a sincere thank you to all sponsors and donors of the 2009 Garden Walk. Our most grateful appreciation to the homeowners, Ed and Cheryle Saunders, Janet and Paul Thorsberg, Jim and Sheryl Dorais, Martha and John Pafford, Randy Frank and Margueritte Kuhn, and to our hard-working volunteers who make it all happen.
